What does MyBrightPatha know about me?
We may know your display name, student ID, grade, province or territory, subjects, classes, assignments, answers, progress, and questions you ask the tutor. You do not need an email address to be a student.
Why do we need that information?
We use it to show the right curriculum, remember where you stopped, mark practice, help your teacher or family support you, recommend a useful next activity, and keep your account safe.
Who can see it?
You can see your own learning. A connected parent, guardian, teacher, or school may see learning progress they are authorized to support. They see helpful topic and progress information. We do not show them private AI tutor conversations as a normal report.
What should I keep private?
Never enter your password, home address, telephone number, medical details, photographs, or another person’s private information into the AI tutor, practice answers, or contact form. Tell a trusted adult if something online makes you uncomfortable.
Does MyBrightPatha sell my information?
No. We do not sell student information, and we do not use it to show behavioural advertisements.
Can information be corrected or removed?
Yes. Ask your parent, guardian, or teacher to help correct account information. A parent or guardian can contact us about access, correction, or deletion. Some school records may need to be retained for legal or educational reasons.
