How the tutor helps

The tutor can explain concepts, provide examples, ask guiding questions, offer practice support, and recommend curriculum-connected tutorials. Deterministic solvers and curriculum context may be used to improve accuracy.

Important limitations

AI can misunderstand a question, overlook context, or produce an incorrect or incomplete answer. Students should check important work, use provided sources, and ask an educator or trusted adult when uncertain. AI responses are not official grades, legal advice, medical advice, counselling, or emergency assistance.

Privacy

Do not submit passwords, contact details, government identifiers, medical information, private photographs, or confidential information about yourself or others. Topic-level usage and ratings may be shown to authorized adults without routinely exposing private conversation transcripts.

Safety and human oversight

Automated safeguards may restrict harmful or inappropriate requests. Authorized personnel may investigate a conversation when necessary to address a safety report, security incident, legal obligation, or serious misuse. Consequential decisions require human review.

Fairness and accessibility

We evaluate tutor quality across grades, subjects, language abilities, and accessibility needs. Users can rate responses or report problems. The tutor should communicate respectfully, avoid stereotypes, acknowledge uncertainty, and provide age-appropriate explanations.

Prohibited use

  • Requesting or distributing harmful, abusive, sexual, discriminatory, or illegal material.
  • Attempting to reveal system instructions, private records, credentials, or another user’s information.
  • Using the tutor to cheat, impersonate another person, or falsify educational evidence.
  • Automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, or attempts to bypass safeguards.

Reporting an answer

Use the rating and feedback controls when available, or submit an “AI or content concern” through the contact page. Include the subject and topic, but do not send another person’s private information.
